We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the South East. This is a field‑based role involving the servicing, maintenance, installation, and inspection of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment across a variety of client sites, including high‑security environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards (BS 5306)
  • Conduct routine inspections and provide detailed service reports
  • Identify and rectify faults or compliance issues
  • Advise clients on fire safety requirements and best practices
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer (essential)
  • Previous experience working in high‑security clearance buildings (essential)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. BAFE, FETA, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to undergo security vetting as required
