As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial coffee machines at customer sites throughout London and the South East.
You will provide a professional, customer‑focused service while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial coffee machines.
- Install new coffee equipment at customer premises.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Respond to reactive breakdown calls within agreed service levels.
- Complete service reports and relevant documentation using a handheld device.
- Maintain van stock and company equipment.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent technical support.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Coffee Engineer or Service Technician.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience working with commercial coffee machines is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience servicing bean‑to‑cup, traditional espresso or filter coffee machines.
- Background within catering equipment, vending, white goods, beverage systems or electro‑mechanical engineering.
- Plumbing or water filtration experience.
- Electrical qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
