As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial coffee machines at customer sites throughout London and the South East.

You will provide a professional, customer‑focused service while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair commercial coffee machines.
  • Install new coffee equipment at customer premises.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
  • Respond to reactive breakdown calls within agreed service levels.
  • Complete service reports and relevant documentation using a handheld device.
  • Maintain van stock and company equipment.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent technical support.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Coffee Engineer or Service Technician.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
  • Experience working with commercial coffee machines is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience servicing bean‑to‑cup, traditional espresso or filter coffee machines.
  • Background within catering equipment, vending, white goods, beverage systems or electro‑mechanical engineering.
  • Plumbing or water filtration experience.
  • Electrical qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
