Responsibilities
- Estimating role dealing with a range of Intumescent Paint & Coatings for a range of new-build and refurbishment commercial projects.
- Obtain and analyse pricing for materials, access equipment, and specialist services.
- Interpreting client requirements, specifications and scope of works.
- Manage the full tender life-cycle from start to finish.
- Interpret fire protection specifications and accurately assess requirements.
- Complete take-offs and quantify materials for structural steel and coating systems.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm project requirements.
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
Qualifications
- Must have Estimating experience working with passive fire systems, industrial paints, intumescent paints or coatings.
- Highly advantageous to have experience dealing with intumescent paint or coatings for commercial projects.
- Must have strong on-site experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and commercial skills.
- Comfortable working within a fast moving constantly evolving company.
- Driven, hungry and can work autonomously and as part of a team.
