Manpower is currently seeking an interim Demand Planning Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast‑paced FMCG environment. Position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full‑time temporary role for 12 months, with possible extension, requiring 37.5 hours per week, to start ASAP, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £48,000 per annum on a pro‑rata basis, depending on experience. The role offers a mix of remote and on‑site working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements. Applicants must be available immediately or have no more than a 2‑week notice period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead demand planning for the UKI region, managing forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning processes, and coordinating growth delivery in the market.
  • Execute the end‑to‑end demand plan for UKI in line with the business plan and customer JBP.
  • Collaborate on bottom‑up volume forecasting across base, activity and innovation planning for a 12‑to‑18 month horizon, targeting improved forecast accuracy, high customer service levels, and reduced finished goods inventory.
  • Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, working with key departments to ensure alignment and delivery of the plan.
  • Monitor forecast bias and accuracy reporting to deliver agreed service levels.
  • Assist the SC Lead UKI with development, maintenance and delivery of KPI dashboards and reporting for the leadership team.
  • Deliver excellent service to all customers, both internal and external.
  • Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant, focusing on the development and continuous improvement of processes and ERP systems.

Required Skills

  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong planning knowledge and background with financial and business acumen.
  • Experience with statistical forecasting and operational planning systems such as Kinaxis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including cross‑country and virtual teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and develop strategic recommendations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • At least 3 years of prior experience in a similar role in a supply‑chain or manufacturing environment; strong experience in demand planning is preferable.
  • FMCG background is mandatory.
  • A proven track record in leadership.
  • Project management skills.
