THE CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is delivering one of the most significant infrastructure programmes currently under construction in the United Kingdom. Operating within a complex environment, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Delivery Director to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major section of works within a nationally significant programme. THE ROLE
Reporting to Executive Leadership, the Delivery Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across a major portfolio of civil engineering works, ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of the programme. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of large-scale infrastructure works within a complex joint venture environment
- Providing executive leadership across multidisciplinary project teams
- Driving programme performance across safety, quality, schedule, commercial and operational objectives
- Managing key stakeholder relationships including clients, partners, regulators and supply chain organisations
- Leading contractual and commercial strategy across major works packages
- Building and developing high-performing delivery teams
- Managing programme risk, governance and performance reporting
- Supporting strategic planning and long-term programme objectives
PROFILE
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
Proven track record delivering major UK infrastructure projects valued in excess of £500M
Significant experience operating at Project Director, Delivery Director or Programme Director level
Previous experience working within a joint venture delivery environment is essential
Strong understanding of complex civil engineering and infrastructure delivery
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and commercial capability
Experience delivering within highly regulated, safety-critical environments
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models
Full right to live and work in the UK
