Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Bid Writer to lead and support the development of high-quality bids, tenders, proposals, and supporting sales collateral across a wide range of sectors. The successful candidate will have proven experience working on both the vendor and client side of the tender process, with a strong understanding of end-to-end bid lifecycle management.
This role requires the ability to manage and produce complex, high-value submissions while also supporting wider business development and partnership activity through compelling content creation and client storytelling. This is a highly collaborative role working across sales, commercial, marketing, partnerships, delivery, and leadership teams to create persuasive, strategic, and visually engaging materials that support revenue growth and client acquisition.
- Manage the end-to-end bid and tender process from qualification through to submission and post-submission activities.
- Lead the development of high-quality, compelling, and compliant bid responses for public and private sector opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to gather technical, operational, commercial, and delivery content.
- Translate complex information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused proposals.
- Ensure all submissions are aligned to client requirements, scoring criteria, and brand standards.
- Maintain bid libraries, templates, case studies, and reusable content repositories.
- Manage multiple concurrent bids and tight deadlines effectively.
About You:
- Experience within consultancy, technology, professional services, infrastructure, healthcare, retail, financial services, or public sector environments.
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks and regulated tender processes.
- Proven experience in bid writing, tender management, and proposal development.
- Experience working on both vendor-side and client-side procurement/tender processes.
- Strong understanding of the full end-to-end tender lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience delivering high-value, complex bids across multiple industries.
- Experience responding to public sector frameworks, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs, and procurement exercises.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written communication, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills.
