We are searching for a highly committed, dependable, and experienced direct support professional with a proven record in human services or a related field, ready for more responsibilities. Responsibilities & Expectations
- Maintain integrity, commitment, responsibility, and attention to detail while managing daily program assignments and compliance with state licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with another Assistant Program Manager and the Program Manager in a team environment.
- Provide care and supervision for 12‑15 staff members, serving as a coach and mentor.
- Support management in programmatic, medical, financial, recreational, and facility needs.
- Adapt to a 24‑hour care schedule with on‑call rotation; utilize an electronic scheduling system for quick communication.
- Seek personal development, ask questions, and demonstrate flexibility and overtime availability.
Required Certifications
- State Medication Administration Certification
- First Aid for Accidents
- CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- PMT – Physical Management Techniques
- Previous supervisory experience in human services, especially with ID/DD individuals
Schedule
This is an hourly role within a three‑person rotation, offering set shifts and real‑time scheduling via an electronic dashboard. Managers coordinate opens, swaps, and time‑off using the system.
