Job Description

Despatch Network Logistics is a growing UK logistics company operating across parcel delivery, last‑mile, middle‑mile, driver management, route operations, and contract logistics.

We are now looking for the right person to join our leadership team and help manage daily operations, improve systems, support new contracts, and drive company growth.

This is a key role for someone who can take responsibility, solve problems, manage people, and help the business move to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily logistics operations and route performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage drivers and supervisors.
  • Monitor service levels, attendance, costs, and delivery performance.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, depots, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Handle operational issues quickly and calmly.
  • Support new contract mobilisation and tender preparation.
  • Improve systems, reporting, processes, and controls.
  • Help identify new business opportunities.
  • Build strong internal teams as the company grows.
  • Support profitability, cost control, and service quality.
