Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their delivery team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead significant sections of major infrastructure schemes while working alongside an experienced senior management team that is committed to developing its people and promoting from within.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of a section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, build strong client relationships and drive a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and "right first time" delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the planning, programming and successful delivery of allocated sections of work.
  • Develop, monitor and update construction programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Manage project budgets, cost plans and contractual obligations to maximise commercial performance.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with Project Directors, Works Managers and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to programme.
  • Monitor progress, resolve technical and operational challenges and provide regular project reporting.
  • Ensure the successful completion and handover of works, maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing project costs, programmes and contractual requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
