JCR Companies is seeking an experienced and dependable Construction Foreman to lead and supervise construction crews on residential and/or commercial projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, coordinating work activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on construction experience and the ability to effectively manage crews and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on job sites
- Lead crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Assign tasks and monitor work quality and productivity
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Inspect work progress and resolve job site issues as they arise
- Assist with hands-on construction work when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working construction experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices
