Great holidays don’t happen by accident – they’re created by talented teams who care. As Maintenance Manager at Parkdean Resorts, you’ll lead the people who keep our park operating safely and looking fantastic.
Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of maintenance professionals.
- Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure your team are engaged and working efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with the park leadership team to ensure maintenance supports a seamless guest experience by responding promptly to all maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all park facilities, accommodation units, infrastructure and grounds across the park.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Manage the maintenance budget including labour costs, stock levels, and the procurement of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all works and compliance checks.
- Liaise with and manage external contractors to ensure work is carried out in accordance with health and safety policies and to a high standard.
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory and company health and safety regulations, supporting regular audits.
- Lead on fire safety, legionella testing, electrical and gas inspections, and other key compliance areas.
- Recruit, on-board and train new colleagues to meet resource plans.
- Ensure the safe moving and siting of holiday homes.
About you
- Previous experience managing a team of people in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
- Organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
- A high level of emotional intelligence with a development and culture-focused leadership style.
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance, grounds, compliance, and health and safety regulations.
- Good IT literacy.
- The ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
- The flexibility to be able to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
