Role and Responsibilities
- On completion of your training, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering clean, ready‑to‑use products to customer sites
- Collecting used products and transporting them to the service location for decontamination
- Disinfecting, in‑field function checking, repairing and electrical‑safety testing products
- Recording all testing, delivery and collection activities in the job management system
- Maintaining product stock and spare‑parts inventory
- Performing product modifications when required
- Providing product demonstrations and basic staff training
- Keeping the work environment clean and tidy
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. After training, you will work one weekend in six, with two days off the following week, and participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota covering one weekend in six, which is subject to additional payment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mechanical or electrical background desirable, but not essential; full training will be provided
- Experience with delivery driving and route planning desirable
- Full UK driving licence covering long‑wheelbase vans (training on manoeuvring will be provided)
Personal Requirements
- Proactive, can‑do attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, follow procedures and meet deadlines
- Basic PC skills including email and MS Office
- Willingness to undergo DBS checking
- Manual handling capability – lifting, carrying and loading Medstrom products into the van
