Sharp Consulting Services is supporting an established food safety and compliance business that is recruiting additional Environmental Health Auditors across several regions. This is a field-based role carrying out food safety audits across a wide range of food businesses. The position offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a varied client base without some of the pressures often associated with local authority environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety audits in various food business settings
- Prepare and write detailed audit reports
- Act independently and manage audit schedules
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on food safety compliance
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (BSc Environmental Health) or Level 4 Food Safety qualification and relevant auditing experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence

- Location: Devon & Cornwall, Lincolnshire, Midlands (up to £43,000)
- Business mileage: 45p per mile
- Private healthcare after probation
- Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
- Associate contracting work available (dependent on location and workload)
