Supply Chain Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Benefits

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business based in Leeds as they look to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join their senior leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and strategic supply chain professional to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function within a fast‑paced and forward‑thinking manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost‑effective, and timely flow of materials through the business — from procurement and planning through to logistics and distribution. They will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and developing a robust supply chain strategy aligned to business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, material planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and commercial value.
• Oversee S&OP processes, ensuring accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to improve efficiency and sustainability.
• Provide leadership and development to a small, high‑performing team.
• Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, and Sales to support business objectives.

About You

• Proven experience in a senior supply chain or materials management role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and systems (ERP/MRP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and strategic planning.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent (desirable).
