CBW Staffing Solutions is hiring a skilled Mechanical Plumber to join a Global Facilities Management client’s team. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems across the Leeds area with occasional travel to Manchester.
Package
- Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum (based on experience)
- Core hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Out-of-hours on-call rota
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems (HVAC, pump systems, air compressors, water chillers, plumbing, boilers, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records of all activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist in procuring necessary parts and supplies
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Requirements
- Qualified to at least Level 3 City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering or Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within the facilities management industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, boilers)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
