Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an experienced FP&A Manager to join a growing and ambitious business based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes while leading a small team and supporting senior stakeholders across the business. Reporting into senior finance leadership, the FP&A Manager will play a key role in driving commercial decision-making through insightful analysis, robust financial modelling and strong financial controls.
The Role
- Leading the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
- Developing and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Delivering insightful management information and performance analysis to senior stakeholders
- Supporting business planning, investment appraisals and scenario analysis
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through detailed financial analysis
- Managing and developing a small FP&A team of 2-3 staff
- Business partnering with operational and commercial leaders across the organisation
- Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensuring strong financial governance and controls are maintained
The Candidate
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Have strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Possess excellent technical accounting knowledge and a strong financial controls background
- Demonstrate previous experience managing or mentoring a small team
- Be highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Have strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Be comfortable influencing and challenging senior decision-makers
- Possess advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
