I am delighted to now be recruiting for a PE backed SaaS business with fabulous new offices in Central Leeds! The business has very strong year-on-year growth, increasing headcount, and a rapidly expanding customer base, and this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a newly created hands on and varied role with real ownership and visibility.
You’ll work closely with the CFO, participating in the day to day running of the finance function, while playing a key role in driving commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making. This isn’t a “keep things ticking over” position.. it's about building, improving, and scaling.
Key Duties:- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Ownership of month-end close process.
- Oversight of core finance processes including credit control, purchase ledger and payroll.
- Ownership of year-end process for statutory accounts and tax.
- Analyse KPI performance against targets.
- Collaborate with revenue teams to turn data-led insight into action plans that help grow the business.
- Support the annual budgeting cycle.
- Ownership of rolling forecast for P&L and cash flow.
- Ownership of finance processes, systems and controls to ensure they’re scalable, robust and efficient.
- Identify and implement best practice approaches, processes and tools for the finance function.
The role would be ideally suited to someone with an analytical and commercial mindset and experience operating successfully in a hands on finance role within a fast-paced organisation. The business will also happily consider someone looking to make their 1st move from practice.. as well as someone looking for 4 days per week or reduced hours!
