An established housing provider in the Leeds area is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join their Property Services team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete day-to-day electrical repairs and maintenance
- Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and rectification
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install, replace, or repair electrical fixtures, fittings, and appliances
- Undertake EICRs and produce accurate certification
- Ensure compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs
- Maintain van stock and update job details via digital systems
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Work independently while representing the organisation professionally
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or 2394/2395 equivalent)
Experience & Skills
- Experience in domestic or social housing maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
