Civils Site Manager in Leeds

We’re Hiring: Project Manager (Earthworks & Remediation) – Are you a proactive leader with a solid background in earthworks and remediation? An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of exciting projects across West Yorkshire.

As Project Manager, you will be the driving force on-site, ensuring high Health & Safety standards are maintained while maximising operational efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage all site Health & Safety, including RAMS, permits, and daily briefings
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and plant (PUWER/LOLER compliance)
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
• Provide clear direction, leadership, and motivation to site teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong track record
• In-depth knowledge of earthworks, remediation, and land contamination
• Strong understanding of soil and water contamination
• SMSTS, First Aid, and Level 6 NVQ (or equivalent); degree
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and project management software
