We are currently seeking a CIVIL ENGINEER to work on the design of Drainage, Earthworks and Highways. The role is based in LEEDS, WEST YORKSHIRE. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm of consulting engineers who offer the right candidates interesting projects to work on and good prospects for promotion.
THE CLIENT
Our client is a successful, expanding firm of consulting engineers doing Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering.
THE CANDIDATE
- You must have a BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; an MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be useful although not essential.
- You should have around four years or more experience working as a Civil Engineer doing design engineering.
- Our client would prefer someone who has experience of working for a UK firm of consulting engineers.
- You are likely to either be working towards becoming chartered or be keen to work towards chartership.
- You should have experience in designing and detailing of drainage, earthworks and highways.
- You should be able to prepare plans and drawings for all stages of the project.
- You must be able to produce design drawings.
- You should have used Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civils 3D.
- You will report to a Senior or Principal Engineer.
- You must have worked in the UK for another firm of consulting engineers and have excellent knowledge and experience of using UK codes and regulations.
- A full UK driving licence is required along with your own vehicle to enable you to attend meetings and get to sites, some of which may be fairly remote.
