RJC Group is working with a Global energy trading company based in London who require a Lead Software Engineer. They are looking for a hands-on manager with broad technical skills and experience within trading environments to lead a team of .Net developers within their rapidly growing IT function.

Working in a modern technical environment, they are expecting candidates to bring understanding of modern architecture principles and coding and testing standards experience to work on custom applications built on .Net Core and microservices within an Azure cloud environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years C# and .Net development experience
  • Evidence building modern-web applications with Angular 16+
  • Current managerial experience
  • Experience working within a trading environment (energy or commodities)
  • ETRM/CTRM experience (beneficial)

Responsibilities

  • Grow, lead and manage a high-performing engineering team
  • Hands-on development of greenfield application
  • Communicate engineer team goals with engineering staff members
  • Explore and define next technology adoption paths to help build out their stack
  • Drive the hiring and progression of staff within the team
