- What we need from you
- At least 5 years' experience working in a maintenance, facilities or handyperson role
- Experience carrying out general building maintenance, painting, basic repairs and maintaining outdoor areas, including grass cutting and weeding
- Able to identify, report and, where appropriate, resolve maintenance and health & safety issues
- Practical skills and confidence using a range of maintenance tools and equipment
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys variety and is happy to turn their hand to different tasks as required
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of building and construction would be an advantage, but is not essential
- A full UK driving licence would be beneficial
- What the role involves
- Carrying out routine maintenance checks throughout the main office building
- Maintaining the external grounds, gardens and car parking areas
- Completing general repairs and decorating as required
- Helping to maintain high health & safety standards across the site
- Supporting the production team with general maintenance tasks
- Identifying maintenance issues before they become larger problems
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the site remains safe, clean and well presented
- Salary
£26,400 per year, plus bonus.
Hours
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.00pm 36.25 hours per week.
