Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical and theoretical training in plant maintenance, welding, bench fitting and health & safety.
- Support apprentice and commercial learners in developing safe working practices.
- Assess learner competence through practical activities and knowledge checks.
- Maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive workshop learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of training programmes and materials.
- Progress to deliver additional subjects aligned to your skills and competence.
- Participate in open days and employer engagement activities.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and safeguarding.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Specialist licence to practice (CPCS, NPORS, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Relevant industry experience in construction or plant maintenance.
- Strong verbal, written and organisational skills.
