Take ownership of a complex educational estate. Reed Facilities & Industrial are delighted to be recruiting for an exceptional Site Manager opportunity based in Isleworth. This is a senior leadership position offering the chance to take full responsibility for the operational, compliance, maintenance, security, and facilities management of a large and modern educational site. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the estate operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards.

The Offer

  • Salary: £42,771 - £45,750 (PO2 Points 29-32)
  • Location: Isleworth
  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time (52 weeks)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays and 2 additional Christmas closure days

The Role

This is far more than a traditional Site Manager position. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the entire site, including buildings, grounds, facilities, compliance, security, maintenance, and resource management. You will lead multiple teams and contractors while ensuring statutory compliance, operational excellence, and a safe environment for all site users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site, caretaking, cleaning, security, and lettings teams.
  • Act as the organisation's lead Health & Safety Officer, driving compliance and best practice.
  • Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, inspections, audits, and statutory checks.
  • Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.
  • Take responsibility for utilities, CCTV, alarms, fire safety systems, access control, and site security.
  • Lead on risk assessments, health & safety reporting, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets relating to repairs and maintenance, health & safety, and furniture and fittings.
  • Develop and implement Estate Strategy Plans, Asset Management Plans, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee lettings activities and ensure the site remains secure during community use periods.
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate site preparations for major events, open evenings, celebrations, and community activities.
