About the Role
Are you ready to lead exciting projects and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will oversee the successful operational delivery of projects, ensuring that all health and safety, technical, commercial, financial, and managerial requirements are met from bid to practical completion.
Your leadership will be key in maintaining and improving profitability through high-quality customer service and collaboration with various support functions, including Safety, Design, Planning, and Finance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Health and Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring safety is prioritized in all activities.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all NG Bailey’s policies, processes, and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all works meet NG Bailey IT Services standards and exceed client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and maximize the potential of your project delivery team.
- Bid Participation: Collaborate with the work-winning team to secure new projects.
- Financial Management: Accurately prepare business plans and budgets, seeking opportunities to maximize project profitability.
- Monthly Reviews: Provide insights during monthly reviews to keep senior management informed of project status.
- Project Management: Oversee all activities to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Client Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with customers to optimize future opportunities.
- Design Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations meet internal and client specifications.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Structured Cabling and Datacoms.
- Solid track record of successful project delivery.
- Previous experience in Project Management.
- Experience coordinating construction services in a construction environment.
- Ability to understand specifications and drawings.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Experience in reporting and line management.
- Data Centre Builds experience is a plus.
- Civils and electrical knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Smart Sheets.
Essential Requirements
- Eligibility for Security Clearance.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- CSCS/ECS Card in the appropriate trade/grade.
- Project Management Certification (APM, CTPM, or Prince 2).
