With the majority of our projects based in the US and UK, we operate at the forefront of precision engineering in high-performance, heavy industry environments. We are now looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering multiple high-value engineering projects.
This is a hands‑on, senior‑level position where you will take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, working across the full lifecycle from concept through to installation. You’ll be operating in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while managing up to 10‑15 projects at various stages.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing complex mechanical systems and assemblies
- Developing and refining hydraulic systems
- Working closely with electrical engineers on control system integration
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Managing projects from concept through to installation
- Supporting fabrication and providing input during on‑site installation
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Driving continuous improvement and engineering excellence
What We’re Looking For
- 10‑15 years’ experience in mechanical design within complex industrial environments
- Background in heavy industry, structural engineering, or moving mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, automation and machinery, and control systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Hands‑on, practical engineering mindset
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Stable career history with solid tenure in previous roles (typically 3–4 years+)
