Reed Finance have been exclusively engaged with a leading organisation who is seeking a commercially minded Internal Audit Manager to deliver high-impact audit work over the next 3–4 months. This fast-paced contract role offers the opportunity to lead complex audits, provide clear assurance to senior leadership, and strengthen risk and control frameworks across the business. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead end-to-end, risk-based internal audits across various business processes.
  • Drive meaningful improvements to controls and governance frameworks.
  • Present confident, clear recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide subject-matter insight into key business processes.
  • Ensure that audit actions are effectively delivered and embedded within the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or CMIIA.
  • Strong internal audit experience within complex environments.
  • Ideally experience working within the infrastructure or transport sector.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proactive and commercially aware mindset.
