Overview
An on-site contract role focused on detailed visual inspection of microelectronic components, sub-assemblies and PCBs, working to defined instructions/SOPs within a controlled manufacturing environment (cleanroom / temperature & humidity controlled). Shift pattern is 4 days on / 4 days off (7:00am-17:30pm).
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed visual inspections of microelectronic components, sub-assemblies and PCBs to identify defects
- Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Maintain cleanroom or controlled-environment discipline where required
- Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve precision-related issues
Skillset/experience required:
- Proven experience in electronics inspection
- IPC 610 certified preferable
- Exceptional fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Superior attention to detail and error detection
- Previous work in precision manufacturing, micro-assembly, electronics or similar fields
- Manufacturing / Production working environment (Cleanroom & Temperature and Humidity Controlled)
- Familiarity with Microscope, precision hand tools and micro-assembly equipment
