Job DescriptionAre you a skilled engineer with a passion for keeping facilities running at peak performance? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Maintenance / Site Services Engineer to join our team at a thriving commercial site. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining, improving, and safeguarding the infrastructure that keeps our operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment and building systems.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
- System Upgrades: Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and performance.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all systems meet health and safety standards and maintain accurate records.
- Documentation & Reporting: Log all maintenance activities and generate reports on facility conditions.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to urgent issues to minimise disruption and ensure safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or City & Guilds)
- Completed trade apprenticeship with 5+ years’ experience
- Strong technical knowledge of building services and automation systems
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Clear communication and reporting skills
