A large food manufacturer are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working within a fast-paced environment conducting routine & reactive maintenance on process machinery.

Shift Pattern: 05.30am till 13.30pm & 9.30am till 17.30pm on a 2 week rotation.

Salary: £40,000 to £43,500 plus Benefits & Overtime.

What You Will Do:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Optimise machinery output and ensure high product quality through efficient engineering practices.
  • Work on mechanical and electrical projects, including installations and refurbishments.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting good engineering practices.
  • Participate in calibrations and ensure maintenance activities meet audit requirements.
  • Operate and maintain effluent plant systems and fire suppression systems to ensure environmental and safety compliance.

What You Will Bring:

  • An experienced Engineer within mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or IEE 17th/18th Edition qualifications (desirable but not essential).
