An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit two Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of long-term clean water and wastewater frameworks across the South East.

Location: Hemel Hempstead. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Package (potential flexibility for exceptional candidates).

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from award through to final account
  • Preparing and submitting applications for payment
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and variations
  • Administering NEC contracts and compensation events
  • Supporting monthly CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
  • Managing change control and maintaining contractual compliance
  • Assisting with risk and opportunity management throughout project delivery

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or water sectors
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts
  • Experience with commercial reporting, valuations, variations and subcontract management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Water industry experience (clean water or wastewater)
  • Pipeline, pumping station, treatment works or utility infrastructure projects
  • Experience working on framework contracts
