An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit two Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of long-term clean water and wastewater frameworks across the South East.
Location: Hemel Hempstead. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Package (potential flexibility for exceptional candidates).
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from award through to final account
- Preparing and submitting applications for payment
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and variations
- Administering NEC contracts and compensation events
- Supporting monthly CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
- Managing change control and maintaining contractual compliance
- Assisting with risk and opportunity management throughout project delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or water sectors
- Good understanding of NEC contracts
- Experience with commercial reporting, valuations, variations and subcontract management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
- Water industry experience (clean water or wastewater)
- Pipeline, pumping station, treatment works or utility infrastructure projects
- Experience working on framework contracts
