We’re working with a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business that is building a brand-new, fully automated production facility in Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire. The company specialises in on-demand manufacturing, using innovative technology and automation to replace traditional production methods. This is a greenfield project role, giving you the opportunity to play a key part in installing, commissioning, and scaling a brand-new site from the ground up.
This is a hands-on installation and projects-focused role, responsible for delivering new machinery installations and supporting the site as it ramps up production. You will be:
- Installing and commissioning new production lines and bespoke machinery
- Working with automation systems (PLC / HMI / SCADA)
- Setting up conveyors, material handling and packaging equipment
- Supporting robotics and automated workflows
- Relocating and installing existing assets/machinery from other sites into the new facility
- Managing contractors and coordinating installation activities on-site
- Bringing equipment online from install through to full production
You’ll also be working on additional machinery such as:
- Automated printing/recording systems
- Labelling and finishing/packaging machinery
You’ll start with around 3 production units per month, scaling to 5–6, supporting the growth of the facility.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in installations, projects, or commissioning within manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Installation / commissioning of machinery or production lines
- Automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI)
- Conveyors, robotics, or material handling systems
- Managing contractors or leading installation projects
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background
Opportunity to work on a brand-new, automated factory build. Exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technology. A role focused on projects and installations – not maintenance. Clear opportunity to grow with a scaling business. Work within a modern, innovative and fast-paced environment.
If you’re an Installation Engineer, Project Engineer, or Installation Manager looking for a role where you can build something from scratch and work with advanced automation, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today or contact Rio Andre for more information.
