Job Description

Our client

We are delighted to be supporting a market‑leading engineering business to recruit a Project Engineer.

They have a large complex engineering site in the Tyne and Wear area, delivering multi-disciplinary engineering projects to global clients in a highly regulated sector.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead projects in the fabrication facility. The role includes:

  • Developing project plans; resource allocation and budget management.
  • Providing technical guidance to project challenges, reviewing and refining specifications accordingly.
  • Identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Compiling project documentation.

About you

Experience in a similar role, specifically working with fabrication processes will be required.

Candidates with backgrounds in various sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, subsea, renewables, automotive, capital equipment will all be considered relevant.

A positive and proactive attitude will be required, along with an ability to communicate well at all levels.
