We’re working with a well-established and growing business within the recycling and waste processing sector, supporting customers across the UK with high-quality equipment and service. Due to continued growth, we are looking to bring in an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the North West.
Role
- Service, maintenance, and repair of recycling equipment including shredders, crushers, screeners, and associated plant machinery.
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Work closely with customers on-site, providing a professional and reliable service.
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately.
- Occasional travel further afield when required.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working on heavy plant, recycling, crushing and screening, or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of hydraulics and electric systems.
- Experience working in a field-based role.
- Ability to fault find and work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
