As the Facilities Project Engineer, you will work alongside a market‑leading Defence and Aerospace company that is constantly growing and developing.
You will develop and deliver internal facilities projects and gain SC level security clearance.
You will be involved in
- Working with site teams to develop and deliver electrical, mechanical, and civil facilities projects with primary stakeholders such as user groups, Security, Health & Safety, and Information Technology.
- Providing technical Facilities input to scopes and options to meet desired outcomes.
- Supporting the development of concepts for scopes of work that can be actioned by procurement.
- Producing project plans.
- Reviewing contractor paperwork and assisting with the management of projects to completion and sign‑off by the business.
Your skillset may include
- Previous experience in Project Engineering or Project Management ideally within a facilities or defence environment.
- PRINCE2 or membership of a related accredited organisation.
- Good working knowledge of 2D and/or 3D CAD packages such as Auto CAD.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of Project management techniques.
- Knowledge and understanding of building regulations.
- NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety at work.
- At least 3 years of professional experience within facilities or related disciplines.
