Overview
Supply Chain Supervisor required for a multi-manufacturer based in Harlow, Essex.
The role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into senior management, you will oversee warehouse, inventory, shipping and logistics activities, ensuring material availability, stock accuracy and on-time customer deliveries.
You will provide leadership to operational team members while working closely with production, purchasing and sales functions to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities to support production and customer requirements.
- Supervise warehouse, inventory control, shipping and logistics operations.
- Monitor stock levels, material availability and supply chain performance.
- Support supplier management and resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory, warehousing and logistics processes.
- Lead, coach and develop a small operational team.
- Support ERP/MRP system processes and data accuracy.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or manufacturing operations.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (MS Dynamics Business Central advantageous).
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Based in a commutable distance of Harlow, Essex.
