Job Description

Packer / Trainee Machine Operator – Leading Edge Labels – Gravesend, Kent. Full-Time | Permanent | £26,500 per annum + Bonus & Overtime.

Leading Edge Labels is a well‑established and growing print and packaging company based in Gravesend, Kent.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our production team as a Packer / Trainee Machine Operator.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a great team of people with a wealth of experience.

No previous experience is required – full training will be provided, with the potential to develop into one of our Machine Operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety policy.
  • Must have a good eye for detail when packing.
  • Be able to communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Quality checking all goods before packing them.
  • Pallet wrapping when available.
  • Keeping the packing / Machine aera tidy.

About the Role

This position involves manual work so applicants should be physically fit and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone looking to develop new skills and build a career in the print & packaging industry.

  • Hours of Work
  • 40 hours per week basic contract.
  • Days / Late shift (If required)
  • Depending on workload, shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours.
  • Salary & Benefits
  • Overtime available
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 50 hours per week.
  • 5% monthly bonus following successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
  • Full training and career development opportunities.
