This is an excellent opportunity to join an established multidisciplined consultancy who provide planning and engineering services to residential and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and talented Graduate Town Planner to join their York offices.

Duties for the role of Graduate Town Planner:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and supporting documentation
- Undertaking planning policy research and reviewing relevant local and planning guidance
- Supporting the preparation of planning statements, reports and other technical documents
- Liaising with clients, local planning authorities, consultants and other project stakeholders
- Monitoring planning applications and assisting with project coordination and administration
- Supporting the assessment of development proposals and identifying planning opportunities and constraints
- Contributing to projects across residential development, renewable energy and infrastructure
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering
Requirements for the role of Graduate Town Planner:
- A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning or a related discipline
- A genuine interest in the built environment, development and the UK planning system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and accurately
- Good research, analytical and organisational skills
- A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
