Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, following a long-term contract extension with an NHS Trust client, we are looking to recruit a Social Value Advisor to join the Account team, leading on Social Value principally, and wider Sustainability on occasion. Working as a link between the Account team, the central team and client's Social Value resource, you will be the site-based, day-to-day contact, driving Social Value initiatives.
You will lead clear and engaging communication plans, fostering awareness and driving participation in social value initiatives at every level of the organisation. This is a fantastic role for a developing Social Value professional looking to get involved with a major Healthcare client in the built environment space. We are very happy to consider grads from a Social Value/Sustainability background looking to develop within the field.
Actions will include:
- Developing and implementing social value action plans, with clearly defined timelines and outcomes.
- Ensuring delivery of the social value commitments as outlined in our proposal.
- Monitoring social value performance against agreed annual targets and KPIs using a variety of reporting and feedback mechanisms.
- Engaging with charities, social enterprises and VCSEs to form partnerships that will benefit local communities.
- Influence, negotiate, build trust and form relationships with FRC stakeholders.
- Enter our social value data in the Social Value Portal each month to monitor, measure and report on our social value impact in line with the Social Value TOM System.
- Develop behavioural change training programmes in environmental and sustainability issues and responsibilities.
- Identify and drive ways to reduce energy, carbon emissions, waste and single-use plastics across the contract.
