Help build the foundations of a next-generation MGA. We're partnering with an ambitious, tech-led and fast-growing MGA on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance / Governance Consultant to join during a key phase of growth and development. This is a business with a modern approach to underwriting, combining exceptional talent with technology and data-driven decision making. As part of this journey, they are seeking a specialist Compliance and Governance professional to help establish and strengthen the governance framework required to support a growing Lloyd's market business. The Opportunity
Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of a broad range of compliance, governance and company secretarial responsibilities, helping ensure the business is structured and operating in line with Lloyd's market expectations and best practice. This role requires someone comfortable operating in a hands-on environment where you'll be creating, shaping and implementing governance structures rather than inheriting established processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen governance frameworks and controls
- Support the build and implementation of compliance processes and procedures
- Provide company secretarial support and oversight
- Establish governance structures appropriate for a growing Lloyd's market MGA
- Support board and committee arrangements, reporting and documentation
- Help embed regulatory and operational governance requirements across the business
About You
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional who combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach. You're likely to bring:
- Strong Compliance and Governance experience within the London Insurance or Lloyd's market
- Experience supporting an MGA, insurer, syndicate or broker environment
- Knowledge of company secretarial responsibilities and governance best practice
- Experience building or enhancing frameworks within growing businesses
