Job Description
Structural Engineer – Godalming, £38k-£48k. Small, friendly practice of practical structural engineers based in Godalming. The firm has six staff and is very busy. Projects span small residential buildings up to £20m developments with steel and concrete frames. The team is easy‑going but works hard.
We need a team player. A degree is not essential. If you are a structural CAD technician who can do some calculations and wants to progress to an engineering role, you will be considered. Ideally you will have 2-4 years + of structural design experience in a buildings design practice. Future prospects for promotion and progression are excellent – a Director will retire in the not too distant future, offering an ambitious person an opportunity for advancement.

- 2-4 years of experience in structural design as a minimum
- Experience with Tekla/Tedds
- Fluent English
- Practical mind, willing to go to site and learn
- Sense of humour
- Car driver – preferred
- Local candidates will be given priority
