We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team operating across sites in central Scotland. This is a varied and hands-on role within a well-established organisation that values quality work, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Dayshift/Backshift position

You'll play a key role in ensuring plant performance, reliability, and availability through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
  • Maintain plant condition and performance to support operational schedules
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues
About You
  • Experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Welding and fabrication skills desirable
  • Comfortable using IT systems and reporting tools
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices
