You'll be joining a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong UK presence and a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across defence, infrastructure and the built environment. Your new role

As M&E Site Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of a scheme valued at circa 50m, working with a busy public sector client. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all mechanical and electrical works on site. This will include coordinating subcontractors, managing short-term programmes, overseeing quality and commissioning activities, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification in a constrained, highly regulated environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on large-scale construction projects, ideally within defence, healthcare, residential or other complex environments
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Experience managing specialist M&E subcontractors and coordinating interfaces with main works
  • A solid understanding of health & safety, quality assurance and commissioning processes
  • SMSTS and relevant CSCS certification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work effectively within a secure site environment and comply with strict procedures
