Electrical Engineer - Glasgow in Glasgow

We're Hiring: Electrician Glasgow £40,000 Salary 18th Edition Required We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join the team at a prestigious site in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to work within a busy environment, carrying out essential electrical maintenance and ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Testing, maintaining and repairing lighting and electrical systems.
• Carrying out emergency lighting testing and associated remedial works.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring electrical systems are maintained in line with relevant regulations and standards.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Working closely with the wider Estates and Facilities team.
• Completing maintenance records and reporting any defects or issues identified.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience carrying out emergency lighting testing is essential.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Education or a similar environment.
• Good understanding of electrical compliance and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
