We are a 12-year-old cafe/deli that takes great pride in serving delicious, healthy food to our loyal community. We are in search of a dynamic culinary professional with stellar cooking skills and an operations mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Wearing multiple hats including prep and line cooking, recipe development, front counter support, purchasing and receiving, and general operations support.
  • Receiving/ordering product including organizing deliveries.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Daily food prep/creating specials.
  • Monitoring social media accounts.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Strong knife skills.
  • Food safety and proper food handling skills.

Additional Benefits

  • Knowledge of a POS system (Square preferably or something similar), or the ability to quickly learn.
  • Computer literate – basic skills required.
  • Knowledge of operating an espresso machine or willingness to learn because you like coffee.

We are a small, well established restaurant located near Brighton Center, across the street from St. Elizabeth's hospital and the police station. Our current hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8-4.
