Job Description
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and servicing of hot tubs to ensure optimal functionality and hygiene.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in hot tub systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
- Provide clear and effective communication to customers regarding maintenance practices, repairs, and safe usage of hot tubs.
- Manage and organise your own service diary, scheduling appointments efficiently and prioritising workloads to meet customer needs and service deadlines.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools required for service tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service schedules, customer interactions, and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site and in transit.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a service engineer, preferably with specific experience in hot tubs, pools, or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good physical condition, capable of handling tools and machinery and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional certification in electrical or plumbing work is highly advantageous.
