Hiregiant have an exciting opportunity in Avonmouth, Bristol for a Field Service Engineer to join a great team of friendly staff with opportunities to progress.
You will be working for a global supplier based in Avonmouth, but covering the Southwest region (M4 corridor Swindon, Gloucester, Cardiff and Devon). We are looking for someone who has an engineering background, with a technical knowledge ideally working on Crushers and Screeners.
Hours and Pay: £18.00 to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime paid at time and a half. Working 40 hours per week between usually starting at 8am.
Role responsibilities
- Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
- Warranty repairs
- Damage repairs
- Site visits across various areas of the country
- Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad
- Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery
- Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
- Good communication with customers and other staff
Requirements
- Strong background in Plant industry essential
- NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent
- CSCS card holder is .
- Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
- Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness. dealer experience but not essential
- Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses
