This full-time Field Service Engineer role is based in Kent. You will be assigned a specific area to manage, as we believe that getting to know your clients is the most important factor in delivering great service. Your area will predominantly consist of countertop and floor‑standing coffee machines, so experience in this category is required. Working with the wider Service Desk and Technical team, you will be visiting sites to conduct PPM, breakdown calls, and courtesy visits. As we continue to grow, you will also assist in the installation of machines at new sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance
- Install and set up new vending machines at customer sites, ensuring they are fully operational and meet all safety and operational standards.
- Planned preventative maintenance visits across your set area to reduce future breakdown calls.
- Reactive breakdown calls, responding within the agreed SLA for each client.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on vending machines, including electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
- Identify and order necessary spare parts to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Customer Interaction
- Provide on‑site support to clients, explaining machine operations and answering any technical queries.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring a professional and helpful approach at all times.
- Technical Documentation & Reporting
- Complete service reports detailing work completed and any follow‑up actions required.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, machine status, and parts usage.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a field service engineer role, preferably within the vending, coffee machines, or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of vending machine operations, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Qualifications
