Job Description

Oplu is leading the search for an Executive Assistant to the Founder of a growing sustainability-focused investment firm in West London.

The firm makes venture capital, angel, and direct investments in sustainability.

This is primarily a 1:1 Founder support role with scope to cover the wider team as the firm grows.

The remit spans agenda and diary, preparation and follow-up, administration, marketing support, recruitment coordination, and light personal admin.

Roughly 80% business, 20% personal.

Not a family PA role.

Genuine commercial and strategic scope over time. The Founder has deliberately structured this hire to grow with the business.

The role

  • Full diary and correspondence ownership from day one
  • Meeting preparation, note-taking (AI-assisted), and action follow-up
  • Administration across accounting, HR, legal, purchasing, IT basics
  • Marketing support (website, Linked In, events)
  • Recruitment coordination (ads, filtering, interviews)
  • Light personal admin alongside the professional remit
  • The brief
  • 4+ years EA experience, ideally founder-led, entrepreneurial, or investment-sector
  • Active listener, curious, high EQ, self-directed
  • Comfortable letting the principal finish then asking precise questions
  • Genuine interest in sustainability as a market focus
  • 5 days in office (one day WFH negotiable)
  • Available for 1 September start (mid-September acceptable)
  • Right to live and work in the UK

Compensation

£40,000-£60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
