Our client, a cutting‑edge high‑tech car garage in Petersfield, is actively looking to appoint an EV Diagnostic Technician. This position presents an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians with a background in electric‑vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to develop their career within a dynamic, future‑focused environment.

Duties
- Perform electric‑vehicle servicing and repairs to the highest standards
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify faults accurately
- Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment to support repairs
- Assist in maintaining workshop standards, health, and safety procedures
- Collaborate to ensure a smooth workflow and high service quality
- Offer technical support and advice to team members, contributing to team success
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop environment
- Maintain accurate records of work and communicate findings effectively to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience as an EV Diagnostic Technician or mechanic in a busy workshop setting
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to swiftly identify vehicle faults
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair, with specific training in electric‑vehicle and hybrid systems
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team
- Excellent organisational skills and a professional work attitude
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of electric‑vehicle technology and safety procedures
- Passion for working with innovative automotive systems and technology
